In 2022, MidexPRO became the main sponsor of Shield and Dagger FC, a Swindon-based Football Club playing in the Saturday League.
The team was formed in the summer of 2021 after the pandemic, when a group of school friends – friends since they were 7 or 8 years old – spoke to their local pub landlady, and the rest is history.
In their first year as a team, they became runners-up in the league and won the Don Rogers Cup. Not only do they play football, but their manager, Lewis, also runs a goal challenge and donates funds to Epilepsy Research UK for each goal he scores.
These guys made a great impact by winning the cup and the league again this year, making them a real force to be reckoned with.
They have a strong X (formerly Twitter) presence, and their kit launch is likely to rival that of many Premier League teams. @dagger_fc
