Why We Have Rewritten MidexPRO?
MidexPRO has been supporting private medical practices for over 30 years, and over that time, technology has continued to move forward at a rapid pace.
As one of the UK’s leading cloud-based Practice Management Software providers, it is important that MidexPRO continues to evolve, not only to meet the needs of our users today, but also to make sure the system is ready for the future.
For this reason, we have taken the decision to rewrite and modernise the MidexPRO system.
Why was this needed?
The existing version of MidexPRO has served our users extremely well for many years. However, like all software, the technology that sits behind the system needs to be kept up to date.
MidexPRO was previously built using an older version of .NET. While this has been a reliable platform, older technology eventually becomes harder to support, harder to maintain, and less flexible when introducing new features and improvements.
By moving MidexPRO onto the latest versions of .NET, we are giving the system a stronger, more modern foundation.
