Corporate Social Responsibility

MidexPRO Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) & Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG)

For years MidexPRO has actively encouraged our team, to support charities and not-for-profit organisations both locally and nationally. This support can take the form of a physical challenge or by offering time to support a cause with knowledge or technical advice.

In the last few years MidexPRO has donated well over £150,000 in funds and donated multiple iPads to many charities raising funds for good causes.

From a business perspective, Corporate Sponsorship is great for brand awareness but also our motivation is to ensure we also give back to the community in which we live. That support may be by way of charitable donations to cover core costs or as part of fundraising activity.

From an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Perspective, MidexPRO takes the current environmental issues seriously and have placed them at the heart of all future strategies for the software and team. Our pledge is to reduce the carbon footprint of the software when considering future enhancements and continue to reduce the need to print from the system by making MidexPRO as paperless as we can.

We continue to monitor how we, as individuals impact the environment and continue to work together to make better choices that benefit us all including, basing ourselves within an office, which is completely Carbon negative. We continue to support diversity, pay equality and inclusion, and continue to promote ethical behaviour within the MidexPRO team.

Both CSR and ESG are important to us. We are committed to creating an environment in which we continue to be proud of. If you have a cause or event that you would like us to help you with, please email Caroline@midexpro.com with an outline of your need for our support and if we can help, we will.

AFC Wimbledon Foundation
AFC Wimbledon Foundation

MidexPRO and AFC Wimbledon Foundation are working together for the next two years to help to increase the local employment opportunities, prevent social exclusion, and improve mental & physical health in the boroughs of Merton, Wandsworth, and Kingston.

The Foundation is linked to the football club and uses its facilities and outreach programs to encourage the local community to engage with those living in the most disadvantaged parts of that community.

They have three Pillars of which MidexPRO will be supporting two of them. The Active Youth Pillar and Active Ageing Pillar.

Active Youth sessions will be planned all year round and held at Plough Lane make it free to help improve young people’s physical health, encourage disadvantaged children to be included in activity including throughout the summer holidays where children can enjoy activities and enjoy a hot meal.

Active Ageing sessions will encourage better interaction to reduce loneliness in the 65+ age group. Offering gentle exercise, join quiz and bingo events, and encourage socialising to reduce anxiety and build self-esteem.

We couldn’t be more thrilled to be working with a great well throughout plan to including the community within the Football club’s strategy.

The final pilar is to encourage sports participation for women and girls. This is supported already by Wimbledon Tennis Foundation and will itself offer more opportunities to young girls and women to play sport.

We look forward to bringing you more information and examples of impact in the community as our partnership continues.

Covingham United
Covingham United

Swindon is where the MidexPRO office is based, and a local footy team Covingham United approached us to support their goal of putting a team together.

In 2020 MidexPRO took up the Kit Sponsorship of Swindon Sunday League team and has been supporting them ever since.

The team continue to do us proud by managing their training and games whilst continuing to do their own day to day jobs. Their social media feed is superb, and they continue to grow their fan base.

If you haven’t seen their brilliant Kit Reveals yet, go take a look. They knock spots of Premiere teams’ efforts!  @covinghamUTD

The team has grown in both ability and stature locally and in have just won the 2022/23 League beating several other teams!

Here’s to another successful year!

Shield & Dagger
Shield & Dagger

In 2022 Shield and Dagger FC become another Swindon-based Football Club who we agreed to sponsor. This team plays in the Saturday league so are not in direct competition with Covingham FC.

The team was formed in the summer of 2021 after the pandemic. The bunch of school friends since the ages of 7/8 years old decided to speak to their local pub landlady and the rest is history.

In their first year as a team, they become runners-up in the league and won the Don Rogers Cup. Not only do they play football but their Manager, Lewis plays a goal challenge and donates funds to the Epilepsy Research UK for each goal he scores.

These guys made a great impact by winning the cup and the league again this year making them a real force to be reckoned with.

They, along with Covingham United, have a strong Twitter feed and their kit launch is likely to rival that of Covys this year.  @dagger_fc

Three times the charm chaps!

Tom’s Foundation
Tom’s Foundation

MidexPRO are thrilled to announce an evening with Harry Redknapp at Braxted Park in Witham, Essex to raise much-needed funds for The Tom Bowdidge Youth Cancer Foundation.

The evening will be hosted by Harry himself, who is not only a football legend but also King of the Jungle. Harry will help us to raise awareness and funds for the Foundation which was set up in memory of Tom who died of cancer at the age of 19 years old.

Tom wanted to help support families like his, who need help with the essentials whilst dealing with cancer. The Foundation has donated food, paid heating bills, and bought wigs for those living with cancer. It has also helped to fund research projects to target treatment for teenage cancers.

The money raised will support the Toms Foundation and a special Prostate Cancer auction will help with an extra donation to PCUK. If you would like to come along and hear Harry and support this wonderful cause, click https://www.becomesynonymous.com/an-evening-with-harry-redknapp-more-details

Tickets are limited to first come first served. We look forward to seeing you there.
