Earlier this year you will have seen that MidexPRO celebrated 30 years of serving the medical community.
As one of the longest-running Private Practice Management software providers in the UK, it has seen many changes in technology and medical advancements over the years from when it was first written by Rodney and Jayne Howlett.
As part of a larger business plan, supporting charitable causes is firmly within our ongoing strategy. We are all very aware of the many great causes that need support both financially and practically and since Gary took over the company in 2015 we have donated over £170,000 to charitable cause and given over 300 voluntary hours offering advice and structure to support charities needing guidance and advice on growing income.
As a team we have supported, disadvantaged children in schools, local hospices, food banks, women’s refuges, mental health charities and larger National causes like Breast Cancers’ Wear it Pink campaign and Prostate Cancer UK and as part of our celebrations, we decided to involve our clients in something the business holds so dear.
We pledged to give away £10,000 in April to causes nominated by our own clients and the nominations came in from across the country.
‘It gives me great pleasure in announcing the causes who will take a share of £10,000. The donations will be given to them in April 2024.
I would like to personally thank all the clients for their nominations from a wide range of causes up and down the UK and internationally too.
My initial thoughts were to donate £10,000 to 20 charities but having read the nominations, my intention now is to give those who didn’t get a share of the initial £10,000 a donation of £250 each. This will be given to the other deserving causes in May 2024 ensuring that each client who took the time to send in their nomination, will have their cause supported.
Below is the list of all those receiving the funds. The first £10,000 donations are indicated in Green and those receiving a share of a further £2,500 in May are shown in Orange.
It is clear from those listed below, that the great work that our clients are keen to be involved in, need to be supported as they support us.
I wish we could do more, but rest assure that our ongoing support for Prostate Cancer and the Wear it Pink campaign will continue throughout 2024.’
Gary Parker, Managing Director of MidexPRO.
