MidexPRO and AFC Wimbledon Foundation have been working together to help increase local employment opportunities, prevent social exclusion, and improve mental & physical health in the boroughs of Merton, Wandsworth, and Kingston.
The Foundation is linked to the Wimbledon Football Club and uses its facilities and outreach programs to encourage the local community to engage with those living in the most disadvantaged parts of that community.
They have three Pillars of which MidexPRO have been funding and supporting two of them. The Active Youth Pillar and Active Ageing Pillar.
In May 2026, we were for a second year in a row, to be the main sponsor of the Foundation’s 2026 awards presentation at the football club with local dignitaries, volunteers and the Met Police who are heavily involved in their outreach program
The Foundation continues to have a remarkable impact, supporting an average of 3,500 people every week through a wide range of programs focused on inclusion, well-being, education and community engagement.
This year, our Managing Director, Gary on behalf of MidexPRO, was honoured to present the Youth Achievement Award to the young Vicente Chew.

Since the age of three, Vicente has been growing his hair with the sole purpose of cutting it off and donating it to be made into wigs for children battling cancer.
Each year, he repeats the process: grows it for a year and cuts it off donating it to wig makers giving children the opportunity to regain confidence and feel like themselves again during incredibly difficult times.
Over the past year, Vicente has gone even further by combining this act of kindness with fundraising to support AFC Wimbledon Foundation. Vicente is also a huge credit to the Foundation’s football program, always bringing positivity, dedication, and kindness in every session he attends along with his compassion, selflessness and determination to make the world a kinder place at such a young age made him a truly deserving recipient of this recognition.
Hosted by sports presenter Faye Carruthers, the evening highlighted the powerful role sport and community initiatives can play in tackling isolation, supporting young people and creating opportunities for those who need them most.
At MidexPRO, giving back remains a huge part of who we are. Supporting organisations that create genuine social impact has been embedded in our culture for many years, and we are incredibly grateful to our clients and partners who continue to support our fundraising and charitable initiatives along the way.
“MidexPRO is very proud to be part of this wonderful event again. Sponsoring the event alongside the Youth Achievement Award is something my wife and I are incredibly proud of. Being able to celebrate a wide range of achievements in the community is wonderful. The team of volunteers, staff and the community who come together to help reduce loneliness, celebrate inclusion and help develop talent is something that the AFC Wimbledon Foundation should be very proud of. I know we are.“ – Gary Parker, Managing Director
