With everything in life, once I get into the habit of doing a task a certain way it can be hard to change because that’s the way it’s always been done, and it works. What if there was a simpler way or a more cost-effective way of doing the same task? Would you be interested?
MidexPRO is coming up to our 30th year in business. We have been a fully Cloud based solution since 2015.
In that time, the private practice software has morphed into a tool that has increased productivity, reduced administrational tasks, and created inhouse tools that can save clients both time and money.

We send our bimonthly Information Sheet to update and inform of new functions and of course our social media feeds help but we also are very aware of how busy clients are and that we are not as important as we like to think we are and our attempts at reaching you, have missed to some degree.
I have noted a real gap in knowledge about all the functions and tools known to Users and this is the motivation for the blog.

Word Processing: Edit and write documents using Microsoft products.
Recalls: Set automatic reminders to contact Patients. List appears on your Dashboard, daily.
Diary: Ability to run multiple Diaries and run multiple clinics.
Expenses: Store all business expenses within MidexPRO for VAT purposes.
Mobile Optimisation: Remember you can access MidexPRO on the move and view patient records and appointments.
MXTASK: Inbuilt Task Management function. Manage, set tasks for multiple secretaries over different locations. Fully Customisable. (One off charge depending on number of Users accessing. From £150+VAT)
MXMAIL: Inbuilt Email facility (FREE) Secure, encryption email function. GDPR standard.
MXPAY: Inbuilt payment facility (FREE to set up) Take payments from clients from within the software, securely. Use payment links to pay outstanding invoices via SMS, email, or letters. Link to MXPORTAL to allow for other key functions.
MXPORTAL: (Free to set up) Enable your clients to view, book and pay for appointments 24/7 – 365 days of the year using your Diary. Updates diary in real time, captures Patient demographics and informs practice of activity.
MXDICTATE: (Free to set up) Transcription service for Clinicians to record audio files and send via downloaded App, to be typed and uploaded back to the patient record. Quick and fully compliant.
MXSTOCK: (Free to use) Ideal of clinics who hold stock. View, manage and order your stock items from one central place. Suitable for CQC requirements.
MXREPORT: (Free to use) Need a different report than the current list? Use MXREPORT and customise your requirements.
Next we have the list of integrations and Partnerships ready for you to use or enable. All are completely FREE to switch on. There is a registration process to most, and some have 3rd party fees which we do not control.
That said, all the partnerships are aimed at streamlining tasks and reducing impact to your daily work activity. Look at these below and check: Are you already set up with these organisations? If so, we can link them to work from within MidexPRO and make life that little easier for you.
Healthcode. Benefit – Use to send Insurer Invoices to Healthcode from MidexPRO, saving you time switching systems and Healthcode do the chasing for you, £150+VAT to set up from the MidexPRO side. 3rd Party Fees apply. NOTE: If you have an Account already, set up a HC-VEDA version and you can speed up the process.
Xero – Benefit – Send Invoices and Expenses directly to Xero and complete HMRC Tax Returns. Reduces the need for an Accountant, possibly just for end of financial year. FREE to set up in MidexPRO. 3rd Party Fees apply.
Nationwide Pathology – Benefit – Order blood tests within MidexPRO for Patients and the results come back into MidexPRO, FREE to enable. Big time saver.
Voodoo –Benefit – Send SMS Reminders to Patients to reduce missed Appointments or prompt cancelations, FREE to set up in MidexPRO 3rd Party Fees apply.
CloudRx Benefit – Order, prescribe and arrange for delivery to patient’s home address for the next day. Supports patients who may be immobile. FREE to enable.
Whereby Benefit – Allows you to do Video Consultations directly from MidexPRO, FREE to setup and each Consultation is 45 minutes long with up to 4 people in the room.
Doctify – Benefit – gather feedback from patients. FREE to link your account with MidexPRO and send on emails, letters, or SMS.
MailChimp Benefit – Send mass emails to clients/patients. Set up a Mailchimp account and export client list to Mailchimp to send information. Again, this is FREE to create an Account and add to MidexPRO.
