We spoke to Carly Silvester who is a Medical Secretary for an Orthopaedic surgeon in Jersey about how using the SMS/Text service has helped with their clinic’s efficiency. Carly said ‘We suffered like many other clinics, with ‘did not attend’ appointments for years until we started using SMS reminders linked to diary appointments.
Before using SMS, I had to call and remind patients of appointments, often not getting through to speak to them. Since using SMS reminders sent via MidexPRO to the patients automatically, we now have very few missed appointments. The SMS acts as a reminder to attend and to cancel an appointment (just as important) freeing up the time for someone else. This has really helped save my admin time and money in missed appointments.’
